The purpose of the La Follette Teaching Enhancement Fund is to support programs and projects at La Follette High School that fall outside of the existing budget that can increase teacher effectiveness, improve the classroom atmosphere, and provide an enhanced student learning experience.

The teacher supply program has been successfully run by the school but had limited resources.  This fund increases those resources to expand the program's scope and impact.  The need is great, statistics show that Madison teachers spend about $1,000 annually out of their own pocket to buy tools and supplies for their students. 

The fund will also provide capability for students to attend tutoring sessions.   With this support the tutoring program will expand to Sennet and Whitehorse Middle Schools to better prepare students bound for La Follette.

All gifts are made through the Foundation for Madison's Public Schools, a 501c3 organization, so all donations are deductible in compliance with applicable regulations.
